30122, VeniceThe Mongolian Pavilion at the 2026 Venice Biennale presents “Entanglements: Connectivities Across Borders,” an exhibition of multimedia works by four leading contemporary Mongolian artists. Based on their contemporary artistic practices and against the backdrop of intertwined history, the exhibition explores the historical and cultural interconnections in Eurasia. A particular focus is placed on Mongolia as an actor within these connections and Venice as a symbolic gateway between East and West. The pavilion presents a new image of Mongolia: not as a static geography, but as a dynamic space of exchange, tolerance, and transformation.
