Tuguldur Yondonjamts (b. 1977, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia) lives and works in New York and in Ulaanbaatar. He is part of Thailand Biennale Chiang Rai 2023, 13th Gwangju Biennale (2020), Asian Art Biennale Taipei (2021). His work is included in the Whitney Museum of American Art Collection (2015), Francis J. Greenburger collection (2010) among the others. He has exhibited his works in solo exhibitions including, National Art Gallery of Mongolia (2023), Berkshire, Reese & Paul Galleries, Indianapolis (2021), Arts Catalyst London (2018), Richard Taittinger gallery, NYC, (2017), American Museum of Natural History, NYC, (2015), in group exhibitions at the Drawing Center, NYC (2016 & 2017), at the Sculpture Center, LIC (2016), Para-Site, Hong Kong (2017). He has attended Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program, Dumbo (2016-17), Residency Unlimited, Brooklyn (2016 & 2012), Civitella Ranieri, Umbria, Italy (2015), LES Studio Program, NY (2015), VSC, Johnson, VT (2015), Tropical Lab, Singapore (2014) and Art Omi, Ghent (2010).
Tuguldur received a B.F.A. in Mongolian traditional painting (Thanka) from the Mongolian University of Arts and Culture in Ulaanbaatar (1997) and he graduated Fine Art from the University of the Arts, Berlin (UdK), Germany (2004). He earned an MFA from Columbia University (2014).
