Dalkh-Ochir Yondonjunai
Biography

Yo. Dalkh-Ochir graduated from the University of Fine Arts in 1979 as a sculptor, and in 1988 he graduated from the Art Department of the State Teacher Training College as a painter. He made an important contribution to the development of Mongolian modern art and founded the Green Horse Art Movement in 1990. In 2002, he founded the Bluesun Contemporary Art Center of Mongolia, and since then, the center has been supporting Mongolian contemporary artists. Y. Dalkh-Ochir works in the fields of painting, drawing, land art, visual art, video art, and his works exhibited in Italy, France, USA, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Shanghai, China, Japan, Korea, Sweden and Belgium. In addition to working as an artist, he works as a curator, he was the co-curator of the Mongolian Pavilion in 56th Venice Biennale and curator of Mongolian Pavilion of the 57thVenice Biennale. In addition, he has experience as a curator of programs such as Art Week Ulaanbaatar, Bluesun Art Camp, and Govi ​​Spirit. Currently, he is working as an advisory member, artist and curator of Bluesun Contemporary Art Center of Mongolia.
